Who Lives Here?

Birds? Squirrels? Raccoons?

I don't know, but it looks like a nice place to live if you're a critter.

When I lived in CA, before I net Hubby, I lived in an area called Forest Lakes; in the mountains, in the redwoods. Across the creek, which ran through the backyard, and up the hill a bit, was a huge redwood tree that had a hole in the trunk. Every afternoon, around 4:30 or 5:00, I could see something stirring in that hole. With the help of some binoculars, I saw that it was a raccoon, just waking up, stretching, cleaning up to make a night of it.

I do love catching a glimpse of wildlife in their own habitat.

when I lived in the smokey mountains I would sit on my back deck and see all kinds of gods little creatures from bears to rabbits, an awesome way to enjoy the morning coffee;)

You're like a wildlife stalker. I can picture that raccoon saying, "Is she watching? Can you see her? I'm going to wash my face. The humans eat that stuff up."

Oh that's cruel to your readers! I want to know! Can't you take a ladder with you and go back there for me? I'm sure I can see two little ears...

I love seeing little holes in tree's and sneaking to see if there's anything in them :)

What a great post to share with us.

This reminds me of when we found this huge kind of den/hole in the ground back in our woods. I didn't even want to guess what lived there.

Me too ...I've never seen a squirrel or raccoon of course ..but I've spied plenty of koalas, kangaroos and possums.

This one kept me at the edge of my seat . . . thinking "surely she didn't stick her hand in there!" haha!

I also get a kick out of seeing wildlife, no matter how big or small.
