Arizona Skies

Here in Arizona, we have some very extraordinary skies. I'm not sure why. Maybe because you can see for miles and miles. Maybe because of the "dry heat." Maybe because we're just plain lucky...

From sunrises,

to bright sunny days,
to stormy clouds,

to after the storm,

to a dramatic sunset.

I look forward to sharing photos from the monsoon season this coming year. You won't believe it!

Absolutely gorgeous. When we have been in Litchfield Park, visiting family, I have stood on their driveway just gazing at the sky. Thanks for posting the pics.

I love skyscapes. That's one thing I miss about my present home - very little view of the sky, even in the garden. By contrast, my brother has wide open skies from his house and I do so enjoy staying there. What never ceases to amaze me is how quickly the sky changes.

Hi Shabby Girl, thanks for your comments on the Max Files.
Your skies are really magnificent. You may consider joining Sky Watch Friday, where bloggers from all over the world post sky pictures. It is also a good way to meet others bloggers with similar interests.
