Early Christmas Present

I did not sleep well last night. I tossed and turned, got up a couple of times to you know what, which is pretty unusual for me. The getting up part, not the tossing and turning. I actually had the thought both times that I should look outside, but I thought if I did blindly step over the dog and peek out the blinds, I'd never get back to sleep. Maybe God was nudging me, "Wake up, look what I did for you!"

So I missed most of the actual falling of snow, but still got to feel the youthful exitement of waking up to snow on the ground!

The fact that we got snow probably means that, as the storm moves east, the rest of the country will surely have a white Christmas.

Thank you Lord, for allowing me this joy, this morning!

Here's wishing you the happiness, love, and peace of His season.

Merry Christmas.

Happy Day!
Where you live, you probably need to get out there and enjoy the snow in the 15 minutes it's going to stick around!

Isn't it amazing how the dessert can get snow! It missed us! Last year on the 18th of Dec we got about 3 inches on our front lawn, it was gone of course the next day, but it was fun anyway. I was raised in SLC and skiing was a part of life 30 minutes away although I never did! We are 30 minutes from a ski resort here in Southern Utah. I still love being able to have my roses bloom in the winter! YES, I see you are a rose girl too! I feel like I am at home visiting your blog!

Beautiful pictures. Glad you had the chance to see some snow. And, p.s., thanks for coming by and suggesting a beer. That would be fun to meet! :) M

Beautiful! More delicate than the 21" walloping we just got here in Maryland, and lovely!

Merry Christmas to you and yours, my dear, and many blessings to you in the New Year!
