We seem to be done with inclement weather for a the next several days. I understand that the midwest to the east is getting pummelled with weather; ice, snow, loss of power, downed trees.
Oh, that is another spectacular photo!!! ;^) Our little spot in the blizzard is covered in white, but no power outages...just a few miles away are downed trees, no power, etc...my cousin woke up to a house with an internal temperature of 40 degrees (F)! She figured out a way to drive in the mess to her parents' house (who were babysitting her son, thankfully.) They are all safe and sound now. ;^)
Shabbygirl...we got 8 inches of snow over the weekend but thankfully no ice! Your picture reminds me of the "Nexus" cloud in one of the later Start Trek movies!

Gorgeous picture -- here in Michigan it is sunny, but only 3 degrees. A tad bit cold!

That doesn't even look real. We had half a snow day on Friday, dismissed at 11:30, so I am happy.
Strangely enough, up here in Toronto we are having one of our mildest winters ever. And the forecast is for more of the same.
