Random Things
Knowing this was the subject for this week's shoot out, I started looking around the yard for random shots. I started noticing all kinds of random plants that have sprouted up that I had no hand in planting.
Like this little spotted plant coming up in my geranium pot.
Or this petunia sprouting out of the gravel next to it's white cousin in the pot.Or the nastursium peeking out around the asparagus fern.
Or the cilantro that I had planted 4 years ago, and this year decided to grow again.
Where did the little purple lobelia come from?
Two little vinca plants popping up in the pot with a rose bush.
A #%!&*! tumbleweed sticking out of the rocks.A lovely lantana that blew in a few years ago.
A jasmine vine sneaking in from the front yard.
And where did this feathery little friend come from?
Cute little wildflowers that found their way into my yard. I love that they all found me. Except for the @$%#*! tumbleweed!

Those sneaky little wildflowers! Pretty post :)
I love the teacup planter I saw them at home depot and was tempted to get them. I love your post as I also just love flowers and when you get unexpected ones popping up it is a bonus!
Love, love, love your shots of random flowers!! I especially love the vinca in the rose..... very pretty :)
Hope your weekend is filled with love, joy and laughter and......

Wow, you have a lot of plants. Don't let me near them, I don't even have a speck of green in my thumb. LOL!
Those $%^^&$%# tumbleweeds crack me up.
sounds like your neighborhood birds have been busy, eat a seed.... you know. nice randomness....
The good thing about tumbleweeds is that in December you can take three of different sizes, stack them up, spray them with flocking, add a couple of accessories - and instant Snowman!
Sciencegirl-True enough...if you have 1" thick gloves up to the elbow!!! Ha ha ha ha!!!
Very pretty wildflowers. I love the way the jasmine has worked through the wall.
Your #%!&*! tumbleweed is a healthy looking little guy. ;)
I enjoyed the hardy plants in your garden...
What a delightful subject for this week's shoot out!! I just love the shot with the pink geranium growing right next to the white potted one. That is just my kind of flower, being a little rebel and doing things its own way, just like me in life!! And the tumbleweed, I LOVE it. you would never find anything like that growing in between the rocks over here, so it seems real exotic to me!! A shame you can't send that little wild thing on over to me, I would welcome it with open arms!! Sure would add a bit of class around here having something so different. Give our campground guests something to look at! Have a great weekend, and thanks so much for the kind comment on my blog post!! Debby
Beautiful random photos!
Very nice tour! You must mulch, to get so many volunteer plants.
Sorry I'm so late visiting. Something killed all of my time.
